Minox 35 AL

June 10, 2016 by Paul Lovell

1987 Minox 35 AL is the follow up to the Minox 35 PL. It simplifies the previous models with an aperture selection of sunny, partly cloudy and cloudy. It also is a fixed focus lens.

I am not sure that the Minox 35 needed to be more simple but someone at Minox knew better. This is a dead simple camera to use. Mine is in white paint (also comes in black) and has USA stamped to the right of the lens(made in Germany so must have designated US market).  A white version is what found me and it looks great but does not fit as well with the discreet size and quietness that I like so much. The white paint on mine is in great shape but may not hold up as well as the black version.

Lens: fixed Minox Color-Minar 35mm f4.

Film: expired FujiColor Superia X-TRA 400
